On October 19, GRAND CABLE received a formal purchase order for the supply of 600/1000V ABC Cable 2x25 mm² AL for JAWWAL, Palestine's leading telecommunications operator. The cable will be used in the operator's distribution works to carry low voltage supply to network sites and installations, where a compact two-core bundled construction with a self-supporting neutral allows the line to be strung directly between poles without a separate messenger wire.
The cable is manufactured in compliance with NF C 33-209, specifying the conductor stranding, XLPE insulation thickness, the ridged phase and neutral cores, and the overall sheath dimensions. Core identification is provided by a longitudinal ridge of 0.8 mm on the phase core, so that field crews can distinguish phase from neutral by touch as well as by print, which is particularly useful when working at height on poles and in poor light.
Each drum carries the marking "JIANGSU GRAND CABLE CO., LTD. JAWWAL 600/1000V ABC CABLE 2X25MM2 AL NFC 33-209 MADE IN CHINA 2026", with a sequential meter marking along the full length so that the operator can record the exact length installed per span and maintain full traceability of the network. Delivery is scheduled within about 30 days after receipt of the advance payment. This is GRAND CABLE's third order for the Palestinian market in 2026, following earlier deliveries to a local power utility and an energy project developer, and it extends our reference base from power distribution into the telecommunications infrastructure segment.
