GRAND CABLE has recently reached a trial order with a cooperative federation in Argentina's Córdoba Province for aerial insulated cables. The trial order covers pre-assembled distribution cables in specification 3x50/50 mm², aluminum conductor with XLPE insulation, complying with IEC 60228:2004 and the Argentine national standard IRAM 2263:2018.

The cooperative federation is an important organization in Córdoba Province, bringing together multiple electricity and public service cooperatives. Its business scope covers power infrastructure, fiber optic networks, and community public services. The signing of this trial order marks a significant first step for GRAND CABLE in entering the Argentine market.

GRAND CABLE has obtained CE certification for the trial order products, fulfilling the technical access requirement for the Argentine market. The certification also provides a common compliance reference for future expansion into other South American countries. IRAM 2263:2018, as Argentina's national standard for power cables, is highly compatible with the IEC standard system. The execution of this product to dual standards, combined with the CE certification already in place, prepares the technical groundwork for future mass supply.

Beyond the aerial bundled cable trial, the Argentine cooperative federation is also working to introduce GRAND CABLE's DC photovoltaic cables into the local market. GRAND CABLE has prepared samples fully compliant with the EN 50618 standard, positioning the company to address the growing demand from Argentina's expanding solar energy sector.

Building on this cooperation, both parties plan to pursue larger-scale batch supply following the successful execution of the trial order, covering the cable needs of the federation's member cooperatives in distribution network and solar project development.
