Cable Construction
1. Circular stranded aluminium compacted conductor, class 2 according to IEC 60228. Waterbolcked. A semiconducting swellable tape is helically applied over the surface of the conductor.
2. Comductor screen. Extruded semi-conducting compound.
3. XLPE insulation. Triple extrusion.
4. Insulation screen. Extruded semi-conducting compoound. Water blocking semi-conductive tape over the insulation screen.
5. Copper wires helically applied.
6. Copper equalizing tape, in open counter helix. Nominal screen cross section = 35mm2.
7. Semi-conductive water blocking tape.
8. Aluminium copolymer laminated tape bonded to extruded HDPE outer sheath. An extruded semiconducting layer is applied over the sheath.
