Following the client representative's visit in July and the signing of the first order, GRAND CABLE's cooperation in the Congo (Brazzaville) market is deepening rapidly. On September 7, one of the client's partners visited GRAND CABLE's manufacturing facility in Jiangsu, China, to inspect the completed products. During the visit, the client expressed high satisfaction with both product quality and the overall condition of the factory.
Notably, just one week before this visit, GRAND CABLE had already received a second order from the same client for the same product, also amounting to 180 kilometers. With the first order still in the delivery process, the placement of a repeat order demonstrates the client's strong confidence in GRAND CABLE's supply capability and product quality. The products are 117 mm² Almelec aluminum-alloy conductors, intended for a 30kV distribution network project in Congo (Brazzaville), with the ultimate owner being Société Nationale d'Électricité (SNE).
During the visit, building on the growing mutual trust between both parties, the client shared three important cooperation intentions with GRAND CABLE:
First, the client expressed the desire to sign a long-term cooperation agreement with GRAND CABLE for the Congo (Brazzaville) market, serving as a distribution partner for cable products locally and establishing a stable, sustained partnership.
Second, the client invited GRAND CABLE to visit their company and warehouse facilities in Congo (Brazzaville) to gain a better understanding of their local operational capabilities and provide a stronger foundation for deeper cooperation.
Third, the client revealed that their business is expanding into the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) market and that they expect to receive a notice of award for a local project within the coming months. Should this progress smoothly, GRAND CABLE could leverage this partnership channel to extend its business coverage from Congo (Brazzaville) to the DRC, further opening up the Central African power market.
From the first order to a repeat order, and from one-off supply to long-term cooperation intentions, GRAND CABLE's business in the Congo (Brazzaville) market is steadily upgrading from project-based cooperation to channel-based partnership. The client's successive visits and repeat purchases not only affirm GRAND CABLE's product and delivery capabilities but also provide a new anchor for the company's continued expansion in French-speaking African markets.
GRAND CABLE is currently advancing production and delivery in accordance with the contract.
