Data Centre Upgrade Project:
This project, which began in 2020, is now in its final stages. It aims to establish a modern data centre with the necessary capacity and infrastructure to provide resilient and efficient hosting for government enterprises and shared services. The upgrade includes physical plant renovation, expansion of IT capacity, automated management tools, and enhanced security components. The project is expected to be completed by January 2024.
GER App:
An online application developed to support the management operations of the Government Electrical Regulator (GER), focusing on improving service delivery, efficiency, and effectiveness.
TAJ Mobile App:
In collaboration with Tax Administration Jamaica (TAJ), a mobile solution was developed to improve service delivery, efficiency, and effectiveness, supporting Jamaica's economic growth and development.
SmartCheck:
A solution developed for the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) that allows police officers to access critical information instantly, including details on persons of interest, stolen vehicles, driver licenses, and motor vehicle information.
National Broadband Initiative:
Under this initiative, 14 parish courts, six police stations, all municipal corporations, and 524 educational institutions across Jamaica have been connected to the internet via dedicated internet access managed by eGov Jamaica Limited and financed by the Universal Service Fund (USF).
ISO 9001:2015 Certification:
eGov Jamaica Limited has earned the ISO 9001:2015 certification in software engineering quality management systems, reflecting their commitment to quality and excellence in service delivery.
GovTechTalk:
A series of interactive sessions held monthly with ICT heads of Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) to discuss and promote the use of technology in government operations.
