Project News:
Electricity supply has been restored to more than half of the customers impacted by power outages as a result of the inclement weather conditions affecting the island over the past 24 hours.
The majority of the approximately 4,000 customers who are still without supply are in the parishes of St James and St Mary. However, several communities in Kingston & St Andrew, St Catherine, Clarendon, Hanover, and St Elizabeth are still experiencing outages.
JPS crews will continue working into the night, as long as it is safe to do so, to get supply to as many customers as possible today. The Company has advised, however, that there is a possibility that some customers will not have their service restored until tomorrow.
