Mongolia Gold Mining Project - Cables Supply

GRAND CABLE has recently signed another cable supply contract with Khan Altai Resources in Mongolia, providing 10kV and 20kV medium voltage cables, 1kV low voltage cables, and control cables for its gold mining project. This marks the second procurement order from the mining company following the initial cooperation in October 2025.

The supplied products cover multiple categories including medium voltage power cables, low voltage power cables, and control cables, spanning the complete power chain from distribution systems to automated controls. The 10kV and 20kV medium voltage cables will be used for the mine's main distribution network and power supply to core equipment such as crushers and conveyors, while the 1kV low voltage cables and control cables will serve auxiliary systems and signal transmission.

The Khan Altai Resources gold mining project is an important part of Mongolia's mining development. In recent years, mining investment in Mongolia has continued to grow. In addition to well-known large copper-gold mines, multiple new mining projects are actively advancing, creating sustained and stable market demand for basic materials such as mining cables.

GRAND CABLE has extensive supply experience in the Mongolian mining market, having previously successfully supplied low-temperature resistant cables for Mongolia's landmark OT mine and the crushing plant of this gold mine, earning high recognition from customers for product quality and service standards. This new contract further solidifies the cooperative relationship between the two parties.

The signing of this new contract means the project will extend from the crushing plant to the mine's main distribution network. GRAND CABLE will strictly organize production in accordance with the technical agreement, ensure timely delivery of the products, and provide reliable power transmission support for the mine's subsequent construction.

The cables have now entered the production preparation phase.
