Kenya Client's Visit to Grand Cable

International business team from Yuandao Electric and representative from their Kenya contractor came to visit Grand Cable.

The project is one part of Kenya's Last Mile, which is a Government of Kenya programme that is aimed at facilitating the objective of affordably connecting Kenyan households to the national network grid. This is geared towards achieving a national connectivity rate of 70% by 2017 as part of the government’s goal of universal access to electricity by 2020.

The end user is Rural Electrification and Renewable Energy Corporation (REREC).

Grand Cable is able to supply Bare Conductors, Low Voltage Aerial Bundled Cables, Medium Voltage Aerial Bundled Cables, LV Power Cables, MV Power Cables and Overhead Service Cables for Kenya's national network grid.
